Editorial policy
Lamagda publishes card messages, gift ideas, celebration guides and everyday lifestyle articles for readers in the UK. This page explains how we choose, write, check and update them.
What we publish
Guides that help with a real task: what to write in a card, what to buy and for how much, when to post it, and how to plan the days that matter. Our lifestyle sections cover beauty, food, wellbeing, home and money in plain English.
How an article is made
- An editor chooses the topic from questions readers actually search for.
- The writer drafts the article in British English, with UK prices, dates and spellings.
- Facts with a date or a number attached, such as Royal Mail posting dates, bank holidays and prices, are checked against the official source before publishing.
- An editor reviews the article before it goes live. The byline shows who wrote it and the date it was published or last updated.
Health and money
Wellbeing and money articles are general information, not professional advice. They carry a note saying so and point to official sources such as the NHS, GOV.UK and HMRC where that helps.
Updates
Seasonal guides are refreshed before each occasion. When we change a fact in an article we update its date. See our corrections policy for how we handle mistakes.
Independence
