How it works
- Each year from the 1st to the 10th has a traditional theme, then every fifth year up to the 60th.
- Where two themes are in use, both are shown, for example linen (or fruit and flowers) for the 4th.
- Years without a theme, such as the 12th, show the nearest themed anniversaries instead.
Example
A couple married in 2016 celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2026. The theme is tin (or aluminium): a tin of their favourite treats or an engraved keepsake both fit.
